Is there any way to hide the messages on the Welcome Screen such as "Logged On" or "2 Programs Running "? Thanks

Don't think I've ever seen that sort of message. The Welcome screen when you first boot up or when you log out?

    XP-home or XP-pro?

Those messages appear when you Switch Users. They do in my WinXP Pro, not sure about Home.

Yeah, I get that on XP Home too; it happens only when you log out or attempt to log in following a Standby period.

I doubt very seriously if you can hide that since it's likely hard coded into the OS.

    :)
