Watching TV from the computer with XP pro

I use XP professional and I have Radeon 9200 graphic card. How do I configure the graphic card to use my TV as a second display?

I am not at all sure that you can do that, but others may know better.

This is a hardware problem and I am moving your thread to that forum with title edit.

    Hi Ludvig,

First, just check that there are 3 connectors on the video card (I am pretty sure all ATI cards have them). One is VGA (monitor), small round black is S video, rectangular one is DVI. You will need to connect your TV to the S video unless the TV has DVI connector.

If you have the ATI drivers installed for your 9200, look in the System Tray (where the time is), there should be an ATI icon. If you don't have it you will need to run the drivers installation program and install the "ATI Control Panel ". Right-click on the ATI icon, select Help > ATI Television Display. That will guide you through the setup. Make sure you select the "country ", different countries have different formats. Don't try to run the TV at high resolutions, TVs run at lower resolutions than monitors (you may get a good picture at 800 X 600...maybe...in other words, don't expect the same detail as on a monitor).

    Matt
