I put image files that are too large in a message and now I would like to delete this message. It tries to send everytime I open up OE. Tried Go-Back and it will not go back far enough. Thanks! CarolynR

Depending on which operating system you are using, you should be able to locate OUTBOX.dbx and delete it. It'll get recreated next time you send something.

    The file will be located:

    C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME\Application Data\Identities\{94F97AA5-A881-4F29-BFF0-038FA6912BE9}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

Open OE and say no when it asks if you want to send the mail. Move the email from outbox to the drafts folder. There you can open and edit the email.

Select the OUTBOX folder and delete the email.

You may also need to (want to), go to Options > General Tab and UNselect "Send and receive messages at Startup "
