We are a school with MS Server 2008 standard domain and separate logon policies for staff and students. Yesterday we had one Lenovo M92Z running Windows 7 x 64 stop mapping student logon home folders. Oddly it's fine with logging home folders on staff log ons. Run Delprof2 - no change. Next step I'm thinking of it running it up with W7 disk in drive and attempting a repair. Or has anyone a better suggestion please?

Sounds like no one else has experienced this very odd issue then?

I just can't se any reason why a Windows 7 client would suddenly stop mapping a home folder but only for one defined group of users?

    Resolved - well sort of!

Ended up deleting the volume and carrying out a complete reinstall with the 4 Lenovo provided DVDs. Took an absolute age to complete - as against a standard reinstall of Windows 7 but it seems to have sorted the problem out but still hasn't given me any clue as to why the drive mapping was lost in the first place.
