W2K Update Error (Log provided)

    I've tryed 3 times to update... i get the same message and error code.

    [Error number: 0x8DDD0009]

    It fails with that error

    (When i pasted the log it said my message was to long)

    -----END LOG FILE-----

    Also one of the svchost.exe goes to 90% and stays there for 10 minutes after the error code.

    I saw another post such as this but didn't want to add to his as his problem was never fixed.

    I'm in the same boat here W2K Pro.

    Have found the log but will await posting it to see if there is something I can look for myself.

    I have no clue. If I where you I post in the MS Newgroups microsoft.public.windowsupdate.

    The only message I could find there regarding this error mentioned the following items:

    Still Nothing...

    Heres an Updated Log http://media12.net/WindowsUpdate2.log

    I did change one of the regeistry's keys (although i never used a Regeistary cleaner)

    I did turn off my anti-virus (AntiVir Personal Edition)

    Never changed any lettering on my drives except on my other drive (XP) but the drive order on here is still the same.

    C:\ - Windows 2000
    D:\ - DVD/CD-RW Drive
    E:\ - Western Digital Drive
    F:\ - CD-RW Drive
    G:\ - USB CD-RW Drive
