W2k decommission concerns

    Hi there,

    I am planning to decommission my W2k AD server but I have a few concerns. I have some directories and printers sharing out to my company. If I run dcpromo to decommission my server, will it de-share all folders and printers too?

    I am pretty sure it will not. You'll need to reconfigure shared resources manually.

    Thanks Reggie for replying. When you mention reconfigure mannually, does it mean it will de-share all my shared folders and I have to re-share them again.
