Just received KB3213986 plus KB's890830 and 3214628 Version 1607 OS build 14393.693. Both main comp and HP Notebook. Busy time of the day and it took about 1 hour - all sweet as.
W 10 Insider Preview received the update and is now OS build 15002.1001 of Version 1607.

I too had three updates to my Laptop running Windows 10. I don't have it running 24/7 which means that installation and reboot will not be automatic. To avoid delays either when shutting down or restarting, when I find that the updates have been downloaded and I have the time to do it, I initiate the installation manually. It took some 10 minutes to "prepare for installation" and after the reboot, another 20 minutes of "churning". In all ½ an hour to install three lousy updates ... ... is that an indication of MS employees being payed by the hour?

So I am not the only one grappling with these s-l-o-w updates. My desktop took about 40 minutes to update.

On my Windows 7 system, I manually installed the corresponding, in advance downloaded, updates in less than 10 minutes, including a reboot!

Funnily, the Notebook was the quickest to complete the updates. It only took about 20 minutes and the Desktops took longer.o_O

Same here. The notebook took 10 minutes less than the desktop. Wonder why?
