VSOPEN/ WORD docs blank

    When I open WORD97 (under win98) I am asked for VSOPEN? WHere and what is it.
    Also, all of my docs are now just pages of small squares.
    Clues??

    empty docs

    thanks!
    Any relationship with the empty doc files? Was there ever a trojan or something in Virusafe? The files all got cleared about a month ago.
    The two events might not be related but...

    I can't answer that one for you. Sorry about that. Have you done a recent and updated virus scan?
    Maybe start with one of the free online virus scanners?

    And for Trojans.....might I suggest:
