VSMON invalid page fault

    Hi again, after I went into safe mode and cleaned out all my temp and cookies so I could defrag.

    now I get a error message when I start windows98second editon up saying
    VSMON invalid page fault in Module Kerenl32.dll at 017f:87ede Registers

    Are your antivirus program's virus definitions up to date? If your subscription is still valid, update them, then scan.

    P.S VSMON is a Zone Alarm firewall file. What version of ZA are you running? You could see if uninstalling ZA solves the problem. However, you should do this when you are disconnected from the Internet and re-enable before you connect again.

    I second the uninstall ZA,, I think that it is possible you corrupted something when you deleted temp files. ZA uses temp files to store things and if you deleted them without shutting it off first, you could have corrupted it.
