Hi wonder if anyone can help me here. I wish to operate in a mobile fashion with my laptop and my company has provided me with VPN-1 checkpoint software. I can access our company system at the airport thru ethernet cable but I cannot get access using "cafe" wifi access points. To get my system working at home on wifi I needed to change my IP address range to line up with our work IP addresses. Is there a workaround or something I can do. I am not 100% sure where the problem lies.

    1. Does the wifi system at the cafe have any security system attached to it as you need to obtain any passwords?
How VPN works is basically, you need to establish with the external ip address that your company has already created for VPN and once the connection established, then you hit the internal RDP ip address to get hooked up to the remote server at your company.

So I am not 100% sure of why you need to reset the range of IP addresses at your house to get connected to the company.
