VPN connections

    Is there any ways to keep a VPN connection to continue even if the user log off their profile so i can log on to my admin account remotely to my clients... please help thank you

    Get hardware VPN at both ends.

    I agree with Scott's advice - hardware VPN is the best solution, especially if you have a number of PCs (more than two) that you are trying to connect over the VPN.

    Hardware VPN means that the VPN connection is made between hardware components on your network rather than via software running on PCs.

    Have a look at this page on the NetGear site. The configuration we are suggesting is shown in the diagram entitled "VPN Server-to-Server (Box-to-Box) "

    The best hardware solutions are provided by dedicated firewall manufacturers such as SonicWall and WatchGuard. Most dedicated hardware firewalls provide firewall to firewall VPN.

    On a tight budget, I've found Netgear kit to work satisfactorily. On very tight budget SOHO (small office, home office) networks, I've had very good results with Draytek routers - many of which have both a decent firewall and VPN services.
