Windows Vista [Volume indication box flashing on screen constantly]

    Hello, I have windows vista home edition. You know how when you touch the volume slider on the laptop, it shows up on the screen? Well...its doing that and i am not touching it at all. I rebooted and have no virius...at least that's what norton says. I cannot get rid of this flashing volume box and it shows through my programs.....help!! Thanks

    I would attempt to tackle this in two steps:
    1. Try if an updated keyboard driver is available
    2. Check for an updated video driver

    Video card acting up?!

    Thank you Arie, Now my volume box is not flashing on my desktop as it was:D.....just stopped!! I did re-boot a couple of times. Thanks for your help as always!!
