Visual Studio.NET 2002 Install Problems on XP Pro

I'm having problems installing Visual Studio.NET 2002 on my system with XP Pro SP2. After it finishes installing, it tells me there was an error during the installation which a list of links to files on my computer that will tell me what went wrong, but when I click on them, it says they don't exist. I've tried about four times after restrating and each time it does the same thing. I've updated my system completely and installed the correct files to put up VS.Net on my computer. Any ideas?
