Windows Vista Vista's up and running, but I've got one question.

Again, it's a question I can't find an answer to online or through Vista's help system.

In the "Start -> Games" explorer, which lists preinstalled games as well as games you've installed (Doom 3 mixed in with Solitaire, for example), how do I add custom games to this list? I have several games installed that aren't showing up in the explorer, and I'd like to add them so it has all the same info as the others, like box art and website, etc.

    Games Short cut

First open the games menu, by right clicking on it and choosing explore.

Then create a shortcut to the game, anywhere will do, even the dektop.

Then drag the shortcut into the open games folder and you are done.

    :)

I did that, but unfortunately it leaves an ugly question mark as the game icon as it can't find the actual icon. Nor do I get any of the pretty Vista features, like the box art, links to the developer, info on the game, etc.

I'm guessing here, but I think you'll only get that if the game developer designed it for Vista.

I thought of that, too, but I get information for The Sims 2. Not expansions or their covers, but the first The Sims 2. As well as Civilization IV and a few others. Surely a game that's what, three years old now wouldn't be designed for Vista, right?

Can't answer that one, I know nothing about games... no time for them!
