Hello, I have a 2.3GHz processor running Vista Business 32. I have a 1.5MB DSL connection and am running Windows Firewall. My antivirus is AVG. Late yesterday afternoon, my computer suddenly stopped downloading files and programs on both IE 7 and Firefox 3. I don't remember doing anything before this happened. I have done a clean reboot and have not been able to isolate the problem. I work from home and am losing time and money because of this. HELP!!

    See if this might help

    Doesn't explain IE though.

Check your firewall. If you have a third-party firewall, check that Windows Firewall is disabled.

Do you have User Account Control on or off? Try testing the opposite (I recommend you keep it on).

I would consider uninstalling Firefox and downloading the latest version.
