BEBE - Welcome to the Board :)

Would you pad out a little detail please - what are the circumstances under which you see this message?

Is this dllc:/windows/system32/script.dll is not valid windows image the entire message or is there more? - please check that you have copied it correctly.

This could mean the file is not legit. Go to Start\Run, type in "sfc /scannow" and press Enter. Have your XP Home CD handy, or have it in the drive before you enter in the command. If the file is not legit, it should be replaced using this method.

    Bad Image message

downloaded the Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor 1.0 but when attempting to activate it - the following message appears:
Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor.exe-Bad Image on the top bar - the message box says: The application or DLL C:\Windows\system32\script.dll is not a valid windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.

After deleting the message box the Advisor home page does appear but will not respond when clicking the start scan button.
