Windows Vista Vista update issues

    I downloaded a vista update last week, and since then my computer won't reboot. I have tried using the system recovery, but that doesn't want to work. Unfortunately, I don't have a system restore disc (the computer didn't come with one). Any hints as to what my problem might be?

    Can you boot in safe mode? If you can, try restore instead of recovery. It worked for me when I had the same problem.
