Windows Vista Vista Start Menu

    I have a new Dell unit and would like to remove several items from the start menu, but can't find it! Any help wolud be appreciated. Thank you.

    Depending on which side of the menu...

    Left side-> Right click and select Remove from list.:D

    Right side items - right click on the menu and select Properties->Custom Button.

    Yes, I understand. The issue I'm having is Apple's Quicktime is loading each time I reboot and changing my background.

    After rebooting, a message is displayed stating a program is running that has known incompatibilities with Vista and your background is defaulting to the standard Vista background. Quciktime is the program in question.

    StartUP items:eek:

    Click start->Run->and type msconfig
    Look in the Startup tab.
