Windows Vista Vista SP1 problems reported

    Some users are having serious problems with Vista SP1. Details here:

    I'm still using XP SP2 myself, so I can't relate any experience with the Vista SP1 download or install, but I thought reporting this development might be of use to somebody else. Anyone here having any problem with it?

    No problems at all, installed on 3 machines so far.

    It is normal that some users will have problems, with Vista the chance is a little worse if you not use Windows Update to install it, but the 'stand alone' installer instead.

    There are a few driver issues, and when WU detects the driver on your system as a problem driver, you won't get SP1 offered for now (until a driver update has been made available by the hardware vendor).
