Windows Vista Vista Sound Limiter...

Ok I really hate Vista anymore... All this stupid BS that is ment to HELP people screws most of us over... How the hell do I remove this sound limiter built into windows vista someone has got to know!

An yes there is a limiter please dont say there isnt when there clearly is...

I have tested the same speakers and sound card both on xp and vista an xp is always a hell of a lot louder on my xp I only can turn up my computer to 4 of like 20 bars before im busting out my ears but on vista I put this thing at max and its still not very loud... An im getting sick of it im pushing a 350watt deck on an aux setup with a new sound card etc so I know its not my speakers its this freaking OS people tell me there is no limiter but I know there is so someone has got to know how to remove it or something!

 

Hi, I've been using Vista since Beta and have never experienced your problem. IMHO it's probably more to do with the drivers of your sound card, have you checked to see that you have the latest version installed.
