Windows Vista Vista incompatible with ActiveSync 4.2

    I am still using Pocket PC 2002 which is fine to me. I bought an Asus A8JR Core 2 Duo with Vista Home Premium pre-installed.

    I went into Microsoft Download Centre and found that Windows Vista does not support Windows ActiveSync 4.2 any more. (I can't install it, even XP SP2 compatibility mode). The solution Microsoft suggested is Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center. But further down there, Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Centre only support Pocket PC 2003 onward.

    Can anyone tell me how to sync my Pocket PC 2002 with Outlook 2003?

    Windows Vista does not use ActiveSync. It has the "Windows Mobile Device Center ". It has worked a ton better for me than ActiveSync on XP.

    Unfortunately, the Windows Mobile Centre no longer supports Pocket PC 2002 any more.
