Windows Vista Vista Desktop and Internet Explorer

    Since is this a NEW machine, I'm noticing bits of oddities with it. My Internet Explorer Icon on the desktop seems to be a shortcut rather than the standard desktop placement. When I right click on IE on the desktop, then click Properties, I don't get the Inernet Tools sections as you do when you have the IE browser open and you click Tools>Internet Options.

    Going back to the fix from a previous post with my Recyle Bin at the following website:

    if you scroll down to step #3 you will see Internet Explorer listed in the Desktop Icons section. Unfortunately it's NOT listed there on my computer. Any suggestions?
