Windows Vista Vista defrag is running 9 days before it is scheduled to run, any idea why?

I noticed some disk activity (similar to a virus scan or defrag) and checked task manager, low and behold the defrag is running. However in my schedule it isn't due to be run for another 9 days. The scheduler is working correctly and showing that the defrag was last run almost a month ago. Is there any reason why the utility is running early?

From my knowledge (and info here at the BBS), it seems that defrag is becoming (semi?) automatic. Like an antivirus often runs mini-scans, not full system scans, I expect the system is doing a mini-defrag. I expect you will see it happening occasionally when there is idle time.
