My step dad was disappointed that his new Vista Business didn't have any games. (he likes Solitaire!) The games are there, just hidden by default. In the Control Panel, click "Programs and Features ", then click "turn Windows Features on and off. Tick "Games" and voila! The games are available from All Programs again. Note: if your computer belongs to someone else, like an IT admin at work, the option for enabling games might not be available to you.

I remember the learning curve for XP, but at least there were only two flavors. I see quite a few differences between my comp (Ult) my mom's (Home Premium) and her husband's (Business) not so much during the operation, but in diagnostics and repair. Ultimate has a lot of complicated features and capabilities I'll never use, but so far it's the easiest to troubleshoot. I bought Mom and her husband's computers as deals from a popular online retailer named after a striped feline. The OS they each got was a fluke- luck of the draw for the hardware they needed that I got a good price on.

And Spider Solitaire on Vista is not the same as XP, and I doubt I will ever get used to pressing the H before dealing again. (Before my XP drive died, I had a 44% win rate in 2-suit. Sigh.)
