    I have removed a program using the add/remove program in Vista. On boot up Vista is still looking for a file that was in the program I removed. I checked my start up but do not see the request their. Where else can I look to fine where or what is still trying to load this file. At the top of the error window it says RunDll. In the heart of the error it says C:\Program-2\Kodak\Easyshare\$registration\registration 7.5.30.2.sxt can not be found. Is it in the registry and if so how do you find and and remove it. Thanks

    Start->Run and type msconfig

    Look in the Startup tab for references to Kodak.

    Add/Remove

    I did try the Clear Utility from Kodak and it didn't work. Some where is a run dll that is causing this problem but I just don't know where it is hiding.

    This might be key, it would be what I would try.

    You could try running HijackThis, but it should be about the same as msconfig. If HT finds the registry setting, it can make a registry backup and you can restore any changes if they happen to be wrong.

    I try to uninstall cleanly rather than messing with the registry. Another way of uninstalling cleanly is to do it in Safe Mode.

    Add/Remove

    Found the answer.
    To correct the error, do the following:

    1. Select Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Scheduled Tasks.

    2. Right-click and delete any Kodak tasks in the window.

    3. Restart the computer.

    It worked.
    Just learned something new.
    Thanks for all the help.
