[Active] Viruses Slowing Down PC! (infostealer and trojan)

I scanned my Laptop for viruses today with Norton anti virus and it found trojan horse and infostealer.gamepass and also something called suspicious.MH690.A.
Lately my laptop has been running really slow, also the internet has been slower than usual also. It's a brand new laptop, running vista 64bit. I know i'm supposed to post my dds logs along with this, but whenever I run dds.scr it says this tool does not support your operating system press any key to continue.

Any help is greatly appreciated and hopefully there is some alternative to dds.scr that I can use!

One more thing to add it also tells me on Norton where these files originate should I delete the files that are causing the problems?

    Hi senstreak18

    Please do the following.

Download a copy of HijackThis installer from here and save it to your Desktop.

    1. Save HJTInstall.exe to your desktop.
    2. Double-click on the HJTintall.exe icon on your desktop.
(Let it install to the default location C:\Program Files\Hijackthis)
    3. Continue to click Next in the setup dialogue boxes until you get to the Select Additional Tasks dialogue.
    4. Put a check by Create a desktop icon and then click Next again.
    5. Continue to follow the rest of the prompts from there.
    6. At the final dialogue box click Finish and it will launch HijackThis.
    7. Click on the Do a system scan and save a log file button.
(It will scan and the log should open in Notepad.)
    8. Click on "Edit" > "Select All" to highlight the entire Notepad contents.
    9. Then click on "Edit" > "Copy ".
    10. Come back here to this thread and Paste the log in your next reply.
(Right-click in the message body field and select "Paste ".)
CAUTION: DO NOT have HijackThis "fix" anything without carefully following expert guidance. Otherwise, you might render your computer unstable or even unbootable. Most of what HijackThis finds will be harmless or even required.

Also please give me the file paths where norton is seeing the infection.

    Thanks
    Geri

This is the file path of the infected files:
[port_ae_v8.9.6.exe] inside of [c:\users\matt\desktop\matt's kool stuff\ipod\aio ipod appz collection [nazzeth]\aio ipod appz collection.exe]-Infostealer.gamepass

The suspicious.Mh690.A is also in the same folder.

There are also two trojan horses on two different exe's in that same folder.

Also I just found out there is a Backdoor.Graybird virus on my laptop and it appears to have replicated itself many times, it's currently affecting 38 registry files, 25 files, 4 processess and 3 services.

All this seems pretty bad to me, seems like it would explain why my speedy laptop has been turned into a slug.

Just wanted to add one more thing. My laptop has a High Def screen and a blu-ray player, and whenever I play high def .mkv videos or Blu ray movies they are all choppy and unwatchable, whereas only a few days ago they played perfectly without a hitch. I'm not sure whether the viruses are causing this or its completely unrelated, but I thought I would throw it in there!

Also here are my HJT logs:

    Hi
What is that folder used for and is there things in it that you would miss if you deleted the folder?

I see you have P2P software ( Limewire, BitComet, BitTorrent uTorrent etc… ) installed on your machine. We are not here to pass judgment on file-sharing as a concept. However, we will warn you that engaging in this activity and having this kind of software installed on your machine will always make you more susceptible to re-infections. It may be contributing to your current situation. This page will give you further information.

Please note: Even if you are using a "safe" P2P program, it is only the program that is safe. You will be sharing files from uncertified sources, and these are often infected. The bad guys use P2P filesharing as a major conduit to spread their wares and their infections.

References for the risk of these programs are here, and here.

I would strongly recommend that you uninstall them,

Note: Please be advised that continued use of these programs after being warned of the danger of infections from them, may result in the discontinued help of future cleaning of your system here at WindowsBBS Malware and Virus removal.

    Thanks
    Geri

    Hi
If this is the folder it's in then delete it.

    c:\users\matt\desktop\matt's kool stuff

Empty your recycle bin and run a scan with Norton and see if it still finds anything.

    Thanks
    Geri
