I recently used tvants (haven't had any issues with it previously)
but I think it has now loaded some kind of virus onto my computer
I've tried running safemode and deleting some of the files I'm pretty sure are the culprits but have not had any luck. Effectively it continually tries to open new windows to various websites and I've had to delete IE for the moment as it doesn't seem to affect fire fox.

    This is my Hijackthis log

Hello and welcome to WindowsBBS Forums.

    Yikes!!

What a mess. And I'm not 100% sure we can get whats obvious, let alone what may be hiding. This will take a good while to clean up, using several tools. I would pose that it may be easier to just save whatever data you can and reformat the drive.

I will not be able to say this box is 100% secure.

Before you wipe anything out tho, I'll ask you to submit some files for research.

Let me know what you want to do and we'll proceed.

I thought I might need to do that
I'm probably going to go the reformat
just going to have to spend alot of time doing back ups in the mean time

just trying to sort out anti virus issues (purchased online from symantec) so gotta make sure i won't have to rebuy it or anything

which files do you want submitted? and how would I go about doing that?

Yes, be sure and save those email confirmations. You may also want to send them an email, explain what happened, so perhaps they have a history.

As for files to submit, go here:
    http://www.uploadmalware.com

    Submit the following files:
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\6ABDDBF8.EXE <<<--this file
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\78A5D474.EXE<<<--this file
    update32win1.exe<<<--this file
    C:\Program Files\ËÑË÷À¸\tbu02628\eqiso.dll<<<--this file
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\421dntos.dll<<<--this file

In user name section put your user name from this forum
In "URL where requested" put link to this thread.

Finally hit "submit" to upload the files.

These files are submitted to many AV companies for better detection.

    Good luck!!
