When reinstalling Norton Anti Virus, I was asked if I wanted to delete a virus. I did, but it also deleted my MSMMR.EXE file. Now, I can run any executable files. Is there a place online where I can find a replacement file for MSMMR.EXE? I did an Internet search, and it returned almost no results. Thanks for any assistance you can give me.

    MSMMR was the virus.

    Download this file

Select the file, right mouse, install.
    Reboot.

Update your virus defs and do another full system scan.

WhitPhil, you are right on the money. Thanks. Now that I have fixed that, I have access to everything except items such as my control panel. I am getting a similar message, except it says Cannot Run Windows Rundll32.exe. Is there a similar fix? Thanks for your previous advice.

Can you post back the exact message?
