Does anyone know how to remove the leftovers of this program.
I removed it by going to add remove programs but after completion and rebooting there were still registry and other files left

    Thank you

    Welcome to WindowsBBS :)

I would not be overly concerned about the remnants - the files you should be able to delete safely and the registry entries will do no harm.

There are ways of eliminating those entries, but I would strongly recommend that, with your posted experience, you stay out of the registry :)

If you want to go down that route I suggest you download the 30 day, fully functional trial of jv16 PowerTools and use the Registry Finder tool to seek out entries relating to Virtual Memory RS2.

I can't tell you which keys are involved, but I would start with Virtual Memory RS2 and/or the Companies name.

Be sure to take the option to backup the keys before deletion.

Have you checked the current virtual memory settings - a fixed pagefile equal to 1.5x the installed RAM is favourite.
