virtual cd

HI everyone,
I'm looking for some advice/info/suggestions.....

I have a dictionary on cd-rom (it's only about 25-30MB) that I would like to copy and run from my hard drive but somehow it always needs the cd-rom to be present in the drive.... and u know how annoying it can be to have to find and put in the disc each time u wanna look up a word.... I tried copying the disc onto the hard drive and then running the setup.exe from there but it just won't work.... it needs to have the cd in the drive.

Can anyone suggest some tried and tested program that would take care of the problem...

I use Virtual CD 4. Version 5 is apparently out:

Almost every CD I have tried works with this, but some, like EA Games, that use protocols that simulate read errors when copying, don't work. Version 5 may have improved support for these, but no guarantees, of course.
