    Hello all!

Not sure how long this has been an issue, but videos viewed in Firefox (v.26.0) are very choppy. (Finally got frustrated enough to write for some help).

Doesn't seem to matter where I'm viewing videos, i.e. youtube, facebook, news broadcast, etc. they all are "choppy ". The sound comes through just fine, but not the video.

Have tried viewing some of the same videos using IE 8 and they seem to work just fine, so I'm thinking it might be something related to the Firefox browser vs. something with my computer?

I have tried unchecking the "hardware accelerator" in flash, but this doesn't make any difference. Have also uninstalled and reinstalled flash player, no difference there either.

Anyone have some suggestions for me to try? I really like using Firefox and it's frustrating to keep switching to IE just to view a video!

Thanks for any help you can offer!

    Regards,
    ~Vicki

    Working now

Thanks for your suggestions but I think I've managed to get flash player working now.

I uninstalled the most current up-to-date version that was offered and reinstalled an older version:

"You have version 11,8,800,94 installed" (according to the troubleshooting page I was directed to).

Videos seem to work normal now, although I'm not sure this was the correct way to fix it? But with Windows XP soon to be obsolete, I'm hoping this will get me by until I decide how to go about upgrading my computer!

    Thanks again everyone!
