I have some Video from my point n' shoot camera. I'd like to stitch it all together into one long video show.

I looked at Google and saw a million of them. Someone said I have it in MS programming. I use MS ICE for the still's stitching.
    I'm confused.
Who can straighten me out here? I'd like it to be Free, so I can afford it.:)

    Thanks Hawk,
That site was too complicated for me. I don't know what it did yet.
Thanks for the help, but I want something simple to put all my little short video clips from my Nikon point n' shoot camera into one long movie clip.

OK, ARIE, I've downloaded it I think? It was complicated with a bunch of stuff I did not want, and it changed my desktop again.
I'll see how it works this evening and get back to you.
Thanks for the tip. Hope it was a good one. :)

Help me again one more time some more!

I have Windows Movie Maker and it's not working like the instructions say.
Is there a Forum I can go to for some Movie Maker help?

It says to "drag n' drop" a video onto the stack at the bottom of the page, but that dont work.
I read and read and it offers no help when this happens.
    Any help for me?

I have a very good application, I use it all the time, it is not free, but the license is very cheap, maybe US$20, and for one license, you get to use all of their applications.

I use it to convert and merge downloaded YouTube videos of music artists, I use it to convert ripped DVD's to .mp4.

    The site is http://www.avs4you.com.

What I use to merge .mp4 files is AVS Video Converter 6. This tool does everything video: edit out unwanted portions, convert from just about any format to .mp4, merging of videos.

There are a lot of other applications which you might find useful.

The problem is even worse than I could have imagined. Somehow when I got all those little movie clips out of my camera they were converted to "Quick time" format, and the Windows program wont see them.
I deleted "quick time" from my PC and the movies are in something called "Ifranview" and now I still cant use them, but cant find that "Ifranview" to get rid of it, and I cant seem to change the format.

I seem to need more help than normal. I dont know where I got Quick Time, but Ifranview came from the local college course I took.
    Boy am I stuck.

99% of all camera's (if not 100%) shoot video in Quick Time (QT) format, so that's the 'normal' format!

You'll need to install Apple's Quick Time to see the video. I don't know if Movie Maker works with QT, I run Windows 7 which has native QT support.

Hmmm, I wonder what's up with the Wondows not using the Quick time format if so many other programs do.
I'll go back and re-load Quick time, and then see if I can change the format to Mpeg.

Now all my Videos are XXX irfranview.MOV

Is there some easy way to change that .MOV to something MS can use?

.MOV is QuickTime, as I said. If you want to convert QT to another format look for a converter.

Like I said before, I don't know if Windows Live Movie Maker on Windows XP works with QT, I run Windows 7 which has native QT support.

    Ah... I missed that part:

Now, you can always download the 'traditional' Windows Movie Maker 2.1 which runs on Windows XP SP2 & later.

That was incredibly complex. I couldn't find the download button. Then I saw where I had to go to a different site.
I went there and they would only let me go on if I dumped FireFox and started with IE 5 or later.

I did this before and wound up where I am right now.

I'll delete the WMM I have now and do this later on today. Got Car troubles this AM.
