video driver

    running win 98se 512mb ram p4 1.7gz etc etc
    ATI Radeon 64mb VIVO card
    absolutely NO problems
    installed Combat Flight Sim 3 X-mas day and has been running great.
    TODAY I get an error message
    to update my video driver.....it is the latest release available.
    What gives..works for 2 weeks then craps out??????
    before game unistall/reinstall...thought I;d come to the experts.

    btw: I have read ALL the ATI/Microsoft website issues and no help
