This is a hit or miss kind of thing going on with my computer for some reason. It plays videos whether streaming or off memory at a higher speed than it should, this causes the sound to not work and it's just a big pain in the butt! Also, when playing audio files from Zune or Media Center, it plays some fine and others you can watch the counter run quite faster than normal and nothing comes out of the speakers. Does anyone have any idea what is going on? I've checked my drivers for my video and sound cards and everything is up to date. If you need any more info, let me know and I will post again!

    Thanks!

Did you recently update your drivers? Is this problem recent or have you always had this problem? I'd suggest maybe uninstalling and reinstalling both your sound and video card drivers and see if this rectifies the issue.

Drivers, yes, I might also consider CODECs and the fact that you are using multiple players that might clash with each other.
