    Hi Aku(Matt),

The 9600 is set to run at core speed 325Mhz, memory 400Mhz
The 9600PRO is set to 400Mhz and 600Mhz

The PRO has a little more technology (Truform 2.0)

A "downside" to the PRO may be that seems to run OpenGL 1.5, the 9600 runs OpenGL 2.0

You can see the 9600 has a heatsink, the PRO has a fan.

I would actually go for the 9600PRO "retail ":

Although you don't get the extra RAM (you should not miss it anyway), it will come properly packaged. You see quite a few reviews of bulk OEM products not arriving in great condition.
