Very weird problem.. [Missing/incorrect characters in XP setup]

    It happened when I started WinXP ps2 setup today. It has repearred in the past. It also appears sometimes with different letters and after installation when i am normally log on to my windows account. Can u help me fix this? Has anything to do with my hardware? My vga card is an MSI 6600GT

    Are you repairing or doing a fresh install?

    If you are repairing, some file seems to be damaged which setup did not update.

    Very weird. Can't offer you a sure shot solution but try all the usual stuff like chkdsk, antivirus etc. followed by a reinstall from a different disk.
