Very slow startup, lots of items in msconfig

    My windows XP (home ver), seens to be very slow to boot up. When I go to msconfig, it has a lot of files at startup. Whick one's do I need?

    I just got this myself, so I'm not prepared to vouch for it yet, but it looks very helpful.

    Startup Mechanic divides startups into categories: Necessary, Useful, Useless, Harmful, and Unknown.

    You can stop programs from starting and return them to startup if you cahnge your mind.
