Just upgraded to Netscape 6.2. Strange phenomenon never before seen with other browsers. On some sites (not all), like Letterman, I get what is best described as if you made a Zerox of something then redid it over and over 100's of times on the same sheet of paper till the whole page was covered with a big smear of black ink - ever browser tool bar gets coverd. This can happen very fast. Any one have this problem?Any solution?
Does not happen on IE or previous ver of Netsacpe. I do Like Netscape a lot and do not want to quit using it.
    Thanks

    Welcome to the Forum

    Hi muruga,

Could you give us a link to the "Letterman" site? David Letterman by chance?

There were problems in the very first releases of Netscape 6 with white text on black background, and with some images, but you are using 6.2. I'm not at all sure what is happening.

I would like to check out the above site, and see if I experience the same thing with Netscape 7.0 PR1.

    Ramona :D

    netscape 6.2 strange thing

there are several sites that exhibit this behavior - what i mean is that layer upon layer of type is loading on the screen thill the whole screen is one big black smear - its like making a 100 zeroxes over and over on a single sheet of paper you get one big smear of illegable ink. I first discovered this when I logged on to our University library site. You can get on this by just clicking on the button below the line where you enter PIN number. http://virgo.lib.virginia.edu/ - The Dave Letterman site is a cbs.com
    Thanks

    No problem for me.
did you have the Style Sheet and JavaScript disabled?

OR are you using your own colour scheme setting?

It is either I don't experience your problem in my Netscape 6.2.3 (WinXP Pro) OR I still don't understand what your problem is.
