In previous NS versions, one could invoke the browser to verify the current prescence of saved bookmarks. (It would search the saved bookmarks and return info whether or not it was still active.

I can't find this in NS7 PR1. Is it me or is that function missing?

    Hi Cal E,

It looks as if this feature wasn't included in Netscape 7.0 either. I'll ask around and see what I can find out.

    Hi Cal,

In Netscape 7.0 you can update the Bookmarks... the catch is, that you have to do it one at a time.

    Click on:
    Bookmarks
    Manage Bookmarks
    Select a Bookmark
    Right Click
    Select Properties
    Click on Schedule tab

    Thanks for the insight Ramona.

I see this a step backwards. Maybe it's because I am missing something. At lease they could have put something like "On Demand" or "Now" as a choice or even monthly. For we modem users a weekly check seems a long time on line.

    Again, thanks.
