I have this installed on Windows XP Pro.

I have been deliberately running various Options from it and so far have seen no bad results.

:) Of cousre only AFTER making sure I have a recent Restore Point. :)

I am just looking for any imput from anyone that may have used it and if any problems arose from its use.

I will say one thing though. It seems to have Norton beat all ways for Sunday, Monday and the rest of the week.

I have not used the AV or Firewall from it as AVG and Kerio seem to be doing fine.

Has anybody used either if these items ?

Used to be called Nut& Bolts.

BB don't install all that crashguard **** etc. Same as principle as Norton Crashguard.

I have heard somewhere that some part of this Suite takes over or ties itself to the Winsock. Not such a good thing to do!

    Hello Mike.

I had that part already figured out.

Used to be called Nut& Bolts

    HUH OH !!!!!

.I have heard that part of this Suite takes over or ties itself to the Winsock

Already a question here. Something has changed.

But that is the kind of info that I am looking for.

But so far I see it as doing nothing any better so I have a strong feeling that it may disapear before I do get my backside in trouble.

:) I do not need any help to do that. :) I can do just fine all by myself.

    Thanks folks.

Been using V-COM for a year with no problems. There are certainly more features than I use. I don't use the system backup or reg cleaner, for example.

But the AV seems much less intrusive and uses less CPU than Norton.

Apparently it did ( or I told it to ) get into my system somewhere.

:( Or I used a not so compatable part of it. :(

I was having hiccups where I should not have.

Unistalled VCOM and hiccups are gone.

BTW. I have been using PowerDesk ( now from VCOM ) for years and no problems with it at all.
