If you are with Windows ME/XP, you have to disable System Restore, before running McAffee.

Start with downloading the latest versions of Spybot and Ad-aware, install, and immediately check for updates. Run Spybot and fix everything it finds and prechecks. Run Ad-aware in full scan mode and delete all it finds. Reboot and if the problem persists, download HijackThis.exe from here. Save it to a permanent folder (I create a new folder in C:\ named HJT). Open and hit scan, then save log. Once it is saved it will open in notepad. Select all from the edit button, copy and paste the results here. Don't fix anything with it yet!

Now, from your HT log, I can see, you are with XP.
No program will pull a miracle for you, unless you turn your "System Restore" off to remove that "bad guy ".
    According to
McAffee site, you should have no problem to remove a pest, once you turn "System Restore" off.
    If not off:
"This means that an infected file could be stored there as a backup file, and VirusScan will be unable to delete these files. "
Very same goes for HT. You have bad entries:
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer,SearchURL = http://www.oborot.com/search.htm
    R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.oborot.com/fast-find.htm
    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,CustomizeSearch = http://www.oborot.com/search.htm
    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://www.oborot.com/search.htm
which keep hijacking your browser, but if you won't turn off your "System Restore" while fixing above with HT, they'll be back.

Download CWShredder.exe from the HijackThis link. Save it to the desktop. Close all other windows and click fix. Open C:\Windows\System32 and delete the wmwlnhq.exe file. Reboot, scan again with HijackThis and post a new log. Also recommend you scan your PC with RAV. Check the box to autoclean. If any files are infected and uncleanable, click the report button then copy and paste it here.

    Logfile of HijackThis v1.97.7

It would be a good idea to update Hijackthis before you scan and post the new log. v1.98.x is available.
