I came across some old CD's which have video and audio from LAUNCH that I would like to check out. When I try to play them I get a message that I do not have Quicktime installed. Please explain or compare Quciktime to whatever I already have that is compatible to this software.

    Hiya

I wouldn't get Quicktime as it can mess up your system. I assume that the extension for the movies is .qt or .mov. If its the latter, you can use Windows Medai Player. If you have WMP, which version do you have.

Also, you mentioned about the versions that you have. Have you got any Quicktime players? Depending on what the file extensions are, you may be able to convert them to a format that is easier to use and play.

I checked the version of Windows Media and it is 6.4. I also looked at some of the extensions used on the CD and it is .mov.
I am not sure what you were talking about in the second part of your reply about versions. Please explain so I can answer that.
