    Hello,

I have a logon script that uses an IE6 shortcut to open a splash page when the user first logs on. The problem is I have one user that upgraded to IE7 and now it throws a couple error messages when they log on (and freezes).

The logon script looks like this:

    RUN "\\serverpath\iexplore.exe -k" + "\\serverpath\page.html "
    SLEEP 10

The first error message is: "an attempt was made to reference a token that does not exist ".

Then it opens another windows and pops up this error message "windows cannot access the specified device path or file, you may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item ".

I have checked the permissions in the registry for the Internet Explore folder and they have the correct permissions. I have also added the server in the trusted sites and set security to medium. I am at a complete loss. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like this is a networking situation so I have moved this thread to the Networking forum - if needs be I can move it back here, but I think you may be better served there for the time being.
