I'm from Portugal and i have cable internet. My isp only allows me to have 1gb of international surfing and 20gb of national surfing.

as u can see there's a very big diference; and obvious 1gb *****!

Originally i was connect directly without a proxy,
right know i connect thru a proxy (a portuguese proxy), this way all international data counts as national, and if i download international data it counts as national..

I can't change ISP because in Portugal u don't have mutch to choose from, not mutch competition thats the problem (they monopolise the market)... and besides i pay too mutch for just 1GB, almost everywhere i go on the net is international, Portugal is very small compared to the world (and other contries :) )

But my question is, for this to work with p2p programs what should i do? I'm not quite shure!!! i've tryed a few, and i think i have to get a socks proxy (national ofcorse)

I hope i'm not in violation of the rules by posting this.
I have permition to use my current proxy.

If anyone can help, thanks in advance...

OdLink - I think this discussion is OK for here. If not, someone will surely tell us though. :D

Little out of my area of expertise (shoot, WAY out) but I found a thread Here that might be useful for you to jump on.

And take a look at http://gnutella.wego.com and http://freenet.sourceforge.net
