    Hello:
I installed a new 80G HD and transfered my OS from the old drive to the new. I had to make 3 partitions of approx. 27G in order to continue using the FAT32 system, I now have C, G, and H partitions. I now want to convert to ntfs, and end up with one 80G ntfs partition. Question is, when using the convert utility, which partitions do I convert 1st? Or does it matter?
    Thanks, Tom

You can convert the individual partitions to NTFS, but you will need to use a third party partition manager to merge the 3 partitions into 1. If you use 'convert' it would be best start with C.

Partition Magic, for example, will convert (AFAIK) and merge for you.

Be sure to make a backup of your data - merging partitions can go wrong at times :)
