In our LAN , we have a server which has 2 NIC & is connected to internet. and ISA server is installed on that server (win2k server). normally users can user invalid IP of the server as the proxy server for conencting to internet. but to some reason we should have LAN Accounting. so I activated RRAS in that server and also add NAT to it. but they don't have internet by connection to server when they make a VPn Connection to the server.

this is really important. can anybody help me?

    thanks

To make sure I'm clear, when users are on the physical LAN they do have internet access via that server but when they connect to the network via VPN they do not?

What sort of errors do they get?

How does their IP config look when compared to the config of a PC that is physically on the LAN?

    yes
if users want to use the IP of that server(which has ISA on it) in the proxy server of internet explorer, they can have internet.
but i want to do something that nobody can work like that ( i mean setting the ip of ISA in proxy section of internet explorer) i want users to connect to server via VPN and then have internet. so in that situation they should make the VPN Connection to server(in LAN) the connection is established this the result of IPconfig /all

Ethernet adapter InValid Ip: ( this the normal IP of mine in network)

PPP adapter Mine: (this is the ip that i get after establishing VPN Connection)

are on completely different networks and with your VPN one,
    - without some fancy routing, I can't imagine how 192.168.2.xx with a netmask of 255.255.255.255 could possibly see the DNS server.
    - the gateway address is the one a network connection will try to use for finding resources outside your network (like the internet) and your VPN connection is using it's own IP as the gateway.

Let you say like this the IP Range in our LAN 192.168.0.0/16 ( the DHCP Range)
This is the Ip address in my Lan
    IP Address. . . ... .. . . . . . . . : 192.168.10.76
    Subnet Mask . . .. . . . . . . . . : 255.255.0.0

This is the Ip address of the server that all service is on it
    192.168.1.1

when user make a connection (VPN) to server(192.168.1.1) the server gives it a IP address(192.168.2.53) from DHCP. and the RRAS set the Subnet mask as 255.255.255.255 itself.

and reset the deafult gateway of the new IP to nothing( i mean it is cleared) but again nothing happened. i think the problem is from the routing.

can you please tell waht is wrong with this kind of IP setiing?
