    Hello,

I've recently started having a problem on my SBS2003 machine where users cannot log into OWA (it responds with the message "You cannot be logged into Outlook Web Access. Ensure that your username and password are correct, and then try again." This is only true for users that were created under the "Users" template. My account, which was created using the "Administrators" template has continued to work normally. All users are able to log into RWW fine, but when they click "Read my company e-mail" they are brought to the OWA login screen and their username and password will not work.

-Users are still able to access their e-mail using Outlook 2003 from their desktops
-When I use the URL "https://mail.mydomain.com/Exchange/username/" to access a specified user I can log into the user's mailbox by using my personal login information.

The only major change to the system before I noticed this error happening was that I ran updates that were waiting to be installed. I have made no major permissions changes or any sort of changes that would have been related to OWA.

If anyone has any thoughts on this matter, please let me know. I need to get OWA running again as soon as possible.

    Thanks in advance,

    Mike

    Problem solved!

Apparantly the problem was in my permissions to a few of the folders that OWA uses to access. I followed the instructions in the article here:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/327843/

and it worked perfectly. An update to my server may have caused the problem to occur in the first place. Hopefully this will help someone in a similar situation.

    Mike
