Windows Vista Username change

    I have acquired my mother in law's laptop with vista 64 bit SP2.

    I have changed the username but the old one still appears in places such as task manager. How can I get rid of the old name entirely?

    Thanks, I'll give it a try. I thought I was going to have to go and change all the entries with old name in the registry
