    Hey Everyone,
Glad to see the board is back up and just in time!

I have a NT 4 server (my PDC) and have added a win2000 server running terminal services. The W2k server is a member server of the NT domain and I want to continue to authenticate off the NT4 server. When I connect on my thin clients and log into the domain I get access to the terminal server but the policies I set for the users dont apply to the win2k server. Is there a way for user policies set on the Nt server to also apply to the w2K server. My policy is limiting start button, desktop, folders, etc. It looks like I may have to create a new set of policies and add them to the users as they access the terminal server.

    Thanks for the thoughts!

WinNT policies don't effect Win2k clients. You will need to use Active Directory policies, (which will require you to upgrade at least your PDC to Win2k), in order to apply policies.

Otherwise you can put a local security policy in place on the terminal server, but that will effect all users on the terminal server including the domain administrators.
