I have several PC's running Win XP, all of them have the same basic setup. Is there any way to take an image of one and use that for setting up the rest.
I foresee the real problem getting around the COA (License key).

    Thanks

Correct and we do not want any hacks, workarounds posted on the BBS - Posting Rules

As you probably well know a copy of XP may be installed on one computer and one computer only. If you wish to install on several you require a copy of XP for each - your post indicates that you do not possess multiple copies.

There is plenty of imaging software around, but no legal way to circumvent the comment above, unless you are an OEM.

    From a PM .....

Imaging a drive is not a problem - I use Acronis to image my drive weekly and have used the same program to clone XP from an old drive to a new drive which is essentially what you want to do.
Not that I know of - the image will have the key from the source install.

However, having imaged the original drive and cloned it to another the licence key can be changed to keep everything legal as outlined here .....

    and more here ....

I have no experience of changing licence keys, but it seems straightforward enough.
